In Primary 1 we have been focusing on the story of ‘The Owl Babies’. We have been very busy retelling the story in the Role Play Area and Small World Area using puppets and props. We have also been investigating and exploring light and dark using mirrors and a light box. Primary 1 have also been using their senses to explore natural materials such as pinecones, acorns, sticks, leaves and conkers. In the Creative Area we have been creating Owls using modelling clay and feathers, pipe cleaners and googly eyes to decorate. Primary 1 have also been developing their fine motor skills by using pegs and sponges to create Owl paintings. Have a look at our pictures to see what we have been up to!
