Today as part of our Polar Regions topic, we prepared and carried out an experiment to investigate ice cubes melting in air, cold water, hot water and salt. First, we predicted which one would make the ice cube melt quickest and slowest. Then we carried out our experiment with 4 special helpers measuring the time on stopwatches on the iPads. We had lots of fun watching and feeling the cold ice cubes melting away and disappearing!
