Today we read a story about the adventures of some animals that live in very cold places. We had great fun feeling the snow and ice, listening to our feet crunch on the snow, watching some ‘snow’ fall and feeling cold breezes on our faces. We talked about the different animals in the story and made their sounds and the sounds of the wind. We loved seeing the ‘icebergs’ pop out of the moulds and seeing the animals slide on the ice.
