The children in The Lodge have been working on the topic of Fair Trade. We traced the production process of a chocolate bar and explored the distribution of wealth for fair trade and unfair trade.
We explored the impact of fair and unfair trade on farmers and thought about the effect we can have on interdependence even when buying a single bar of chocolate.
Finally, we designed our own chocolate wrappers with bright colours, a fun name and most importantly, the Fair Trade logo.
